Love Left The Room
Love left the room, and took away tears; she hid them away, between the months, days and years.
Love left a silence in the hearth of our home. Love disappeared to a place with no phone.
Love left her memories, scattered around, in the faces of children in their expressions and their frowns.
Love left us moments to envelop in our minds, precious snippets of beautiful times.
Love holds our hearts as they quiver and miss her.
Love tries to reach us in a delicate whisper; ‘Love never leaves love.’
But still, we miss her.
In memory of Marie Lovett, our Mother.
